(Supported by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professors Program)
Welcome! The goal of the Wisconsin Program for Scientific Teaching is to enhance undergraduate biology education by training a new generation of "scientific teachers," namely faculty and instructors who bring the rigor and spirit of science research to teaching. We invite the participation of faculty, graduate students, and postdocs by training them to become outstanding mentors and classroom teachers.

We encourage you to explore the programs and resources we have made available. In addition, you may find our first Science article, Scientific Teaching, helpful in understanding the unifying principles behind our program. There is more information on the scientific teaching model available on this website, including a full description, related publications, and resources.
